The Slingshot APT is a previously unknown, highly sophisticated cyber-espionage platform that has been active since at least 2012 until February 2018. It was discovered during the analysis of an incident involving a suspected keylogger. Slingshot solves all sorts of technical challenges and often in an elegant way, combining older and newer components into a long-term operation. It focuses on Africa and the Middle East region.
